(KLTV) - A Texas National Guard convoy was involved in a crash on I-20.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a Texas National Guard convoy was heading east on I-20 toward Fort Polk, Louisiana. At 11:02 a.m. Monday, the first vehicle in the convoy slowed down. The second vehicle in the convoy was unable to stop in time, leading to a crash between both military vehicles.

Two occupants in the second vehicle were taken to a hospital. They have since been treated and released.

A hazmat team was called to clean up a small diesel fuel spill. One lane was shut down for two and a half hours while the team cleaned the spill.
