Sheriff searching for culprits who vandalized East Texas community

WHITEHOUSE, TX (KLTV) - Detectives with the Smith County Sheriff's Office are looking for information regarding vandalism south of Whitehouse.

Several mailboxes, roadways, and a house on Lost Creek were spray painted with profanity and derogatory symbols, including swastikas and the letters "KKK."

Those involved face arrest and possible felony charges for vandalism and criminal mischief.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes should contact the Smith County Sheriff's Office at 903-566-6600, or Detective Archer at 903-590-2846.
