Trooper injured in Harrison County wreck identified

A Department of Public Safety Trooper was involved in a wreck Tuesday night in Harrison County.

Trooper Tyson Chow, 26 of Longview, was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. He is in the Intensive Care Unit, but is stable at this time, says DPS.

Kamrey Gee, the other driver, 20 of Tatum, was treated and released Tuesday night.

The wreck happened on Highway 80 east of Hallsville, just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to authorities, Trooper Chow was attempting to make a U-turn on Highway 80, when Gee hit Chow's car on the driver's side. 

The wreck is still under investigation, but so far, no citations have been issued.
