Alleged identity theft ring leader sentenced to 20 years in prison

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The alleged leader of an identity theft ring is going to prison.

In Smith County court Tuesday, 34-year-old Brandon Session was sentenced to 20 years in prison for engaging in organized criminal activity. Session is believed to have led an identity theft ring of nearly two dozen people who stole thousands of dollars by taking out cash loans in other peoples' names.
