Mt. Pleasant crash leaves one driver in critical condition

MOUNT PLEASANT, TX (KLTV) - Mount Pleasant police, along with Department of Public Safety, are working to clear a major crash at 1200 West Ferguson near NAPA Auto Parts.

The driver of a red 2006 Dodge pick-up truck, identified as Joe Bradford, 80, of Mount Pleasant, was airlifted to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, he is in critical condition. His family has been notified.

The driver of the 18 wheeler, Ronald Dickson, 64, of Otoka, Oklahoma, was not injured.

One lane is accessible in both directions.  The investigation is ongoing, but police say that the Dodge pick-up pulled out of NAPA Auto onto Ferguson in front of the 18 wheeler.
