TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
The Tyler Museum of Art is joining 2,000 museums and historic sites around the United States this summer in the Blue Star Museum Program. This is the fifth year the museum has participated in the program, which offers free admission to any active-duty military personnel and their families.
Executive Director Christopher Leahy said, “It's a great opportunity for us. As a veteran myself, this is another opportunity for us to recognize all of the people that have served.”
Free admission for military members starts Memorial Day and lasts all the way through Labor Day, on September 1, 2014.
