Restaurant Reports: Complaints lead to negative health inspection

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Luby's Cafeteria #1, 1815 Roseland, Tyler, had some issues on their latest health inspector report.

NETHEALTH inspected Luby's after several complaints were called in to the department:

On May 7, a complainant said restrooms were filthy. "Feces on floor and in stalls and trash in both restrooms"

On May 8, a second complainant said "place is filthy" with "dead and live roaches and a substance that looked like feces"

NETHEALTH responded and performed an inspection on 5/13.

Found improper storage of personal items and personal beverages… Food temperature violation in the vegetable walk in cooler… Roach droppings observed.

During inspection, Manager told NETHEALTH about restroom situation: "One of the customers had an accident but both restrooms had been cleaned and sanitized.

On follow up inspection, 0 demerits
