WhiteWave Foods is voluntarily recalling half gallon containers of Silk Light Original Soymilk because they may contain almondmilk.
A recall has been issued for WhiteWave Foods Silk Light Original Soymilk.
After an error in carton packaging, the company is recalling the containers of soy milk because they may contain almond milk. People with sensitivities or allergies toward almonds run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction. No illnesses have been reported.
WhiteWave foods say they believe less than 21,402 half gallon cartons of the milk have been shipped to stores in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. The company says they are working to recover the mislabeled cartons from stores.
The half gallon containers are printed with “use by” dates of either June 22 or June 23 on the front of the carton above the pour spout and a Universal Product Code of 25293 60101 on the back of the package. This recall only applies to the plant codes listed below:

If you bought one of these mislabeled cartons, you can return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund.
