A historic home in Longview has been honored locally and nationally.
LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -
A piece of East Texas history is preserved for one family with state and national recognition.
The Rembert-Harrison house on Fredonia street was built 135 years ago. As one of Longview's oldest structures, it was commemorated with two historical plaques.
Members of the Gregg county historical commission and family members were on hand for the ceremony Saturday as it was recognized with a national register of historic places plaque, and a Texas historical commission marker.
