EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -
We are waking up to scattered showers moving across the region. Rainfall totals have been much lighter than what we saw 24 hours ago. This is allowing all of the rainfall to soak into the ground and relieve any threat for any flooding.
Your Wednesday forecast is calling for scattered showers during the morning hours, before our upper low moves to the east. Showers will be with us through the noon hour before clouds begin to break a bit, and some sunshine begins to filter into the area. Look for mostly cloudy skies during the afternoon with highs warming into the 60s. Tonight, look for clearing skies and much cooler temperatures. Overnight lows will fall well below normal into the lower to middle 40s. A few of our normal cooler locations may drop down into the 30s. Wow! The calendar does still say, Mid May, right? Look for plenty of sunshine and temps warming into the mid 70s for Thursday. Friday, we will start in the 40s once again, with plenty of sunshine, temps will warm into the upper 70s. We'll be in the lower 80s this weekend with plenty of sunshine. Highs warm back into the low to mid 80s next week, with plenty of sunshine. Copyright 2014 KLTV. All rights reserved.
