Autistic E. Texas teen reported missing

HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - East Texas authorities are asking the public's help in locating a missing Harrison County boy.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, 17-year-old Chance Coleson wandered away from his home in Waskom. Coleson is mildly autistic and has previously wandered away from home before being located in Greenwood, Louisiana.

Coleson is described by his mom as 5'8" and approximately 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Coleson's family is in East Texas on a work assignment and are currently staying at an RV park along Interstate 20 in Waskom. The family's main home is located in Vinton, Louisiana, but his mom does not believe he would know how to return there.

He was last seen wearing a black and white t-shirt, brown shorts and flip flops.

Anyone with information regarding Coleson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Harrison County Sheriff's Office at 903-923-4000.
