Legal troubles are mounting for the 15-year-old who was shot by a Marigny homeowner last year.
The NOPD booked Marshall Coulter with an aggravated burglary that happened in an apartment building in the 900 block of Frenchman back in June of 2012.
FOX 8 has now obtained the police report from that incident.
According to the report, the victims, who were roommates, left their home around 2:30 a.m. and returned about an hour later to find items moved around in a bedroom. Moments later, the report says, "The perpetrator suddenly sprang from a pile of clothing located near the doorway to the bedroom."
According to the report, "The victim struggles with the subject and upon momentarily breaking free, the subject verbally threatened the victim saying, 'I have a gun.'"
He eventually made his escape over a backyard fence.
The police reports states, "The victim checked his dresser drawer for his handgun and discovered it had been stolen."
Even though the incident happened in 2012, police didn't book Coulter with the aggravated burglary until after his arrest Friday for a simple burglary in the 2000 block of Royal Street.
Coulter was shot in the head last July by Marigny homeowner Merritt Landry. Landry told police the teen hopped his fence early one morning and Landry feared for his life.
The homeowner was arrested and Coulter was believed to be incapacitated from his injuries until police caught up with him last week.
Landry's case stalled before a grand jury, but the district attorney says it's still an open case.
