A Mount Pleasant woman is in the Titus County Jail facing two charges of sexual assault of a child.

Mount Pleasant police chief Wayne Isbell tells KLTV that police were called to a disturbance at Amanda "Mandi" Willeford's residence where officers learned that she had been having sexual relations with a boy under 17 years old. A warrant was issued for her arrest and she was booked into the Titus County Jail on a charge of sexual assault of a child, a second degree felony. Bond for that charge was set at $30,000.

While she was in jail, police learned of a second victim, a boy under the age of 14. Police gathered enough evidence to charge Willeford with aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first degree felony. Willeford was charged on Monday while she was still in jail. No bond has been set on that charge.
