GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Gregg County sheriff says a teenager is dead and another woman in the hospital after a domestic dispute turned violent on Saturday.

At about 7:39 on Saturday evening, Gregg County deputies responded to a home off of Gamel Rd after reports of a shooting. When deputies arrived, they found two females outside the front of the home with gunshot wounds. A 33-year-old woman, whose name is not being released, had multiple gunshots wounds in her back. Another woman, 17-year-old Jacklyn Flores, had a gunshot wound in her head.

The 33-year-old was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center for treatment. Flores was transported to Longview Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead just before 8:30 p.m.

The suspect fled the scene after the shooting and was arrested shortly after by Department of Public Safety troopers in Upshur County.

The 33-year-old woman told authorities that a domestic dispute led up to the shooting.

An autopsy for Flores was ordered and her body was sent to the Forensic Medical Center in Tyler.

Upshur County records show that Jamie Camposano was arrested by DPS troopers Saturday night. He was confined at 11:33 p.m. and charged with murder and driving while intoxicated.
