BCPD identifies man killed in motorcycle wreck on I220

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -

Bossier City Police have released the name of the man killed overnight in a motorcycle wreck.

Police say it was 37-year-old Dennis Hyatt of Shreveport.

Police were called to I-220 at I-20 at approximately 12:20 a.m. Saturday after a passing motorist notice a man lying on the ground near a motorcycle.  

Police say it appears Hyatt had just exited westbound onto I-220 from I-20 and lost control causing the motorcycle to crash into a construction sign. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
