Commissioners Give Go Ahead For Realtor Use

For sale by owner.
Monday morning the Smith County Commissioners court gave the go ahead to the county purchasing agent to find a real estate agent for the sale of the former Smith County Juvenile Attention Center.
The county wanted to donate the building to charity but was advised to sell the building instead.
The purchasing agent has a choice of 3 commercial realtors. The deal will go to the best offer made and for a commission not to exceed 6 percent.
