ARP, TX (KLTV) - A semi truck crashed into a Smith County yard on Thursday afternoon.

The truck landed on its side at a home at 20521 Highway 64 in Arp. Loretta Homan, the woman who lives at the residence, was home when the truck came barreling into her front yard.

Homan said the driver of the truck got out of the truck and appeared to be uninjured.

The Arp Volunteer Fire Department responded to the rollover. Fire officials said they are unsure how the semi landed in the woman's front yard.

"I was going to take those pine trees down, but not like this," said Homan.

Homan added she is just thankful no one was hurt.
