TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
Police have located a Tyler man accused of robbing a local department store.
Investigators with the Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force located Bobby Choice at his home in Smith County around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The Tyler Police Department said 54-year-old Bobby Donell Choice of Tyler stole items from J.C. Penney inside Broadway Square Mall. The alleged theft occurred on April 19.
While attempting to evade store security, Choice injured an 11-year-old boy.
Choice was taken into custody on a robbery warrant, with $100,000 bond.
Choice was arrested for theft in February 2014. He has previously been arrested 15 times in Smith County on various charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespassing and failure to appear.
