SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) -

One man has died after a major wreck Friday night on Interstate 20 in Greenwood.

According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, hospital officials said the driver of a Jaguar that was smashed by an 18-wheeler died of his injuries. His name has not been released.

I-20 will be blocked eastbound from the Waskom, TX exit to Hwy. 169 until after midnight as first responders clear a wreck that sent two people to the hospital Friday night.

Police said a Yellow Freight truck came up to a small wreck but was unable to stop before it hit a Jaguar crossover and then hit a Colonial Freight 18-wheeler, tearing the back of it open.

Traffic was diverted at Waskom to Hwy 80 until after the wreck was cleared.
