School Shooting

It was a surreal incident in New Jersey where a National Guard fighter jet shot up an elementary school during a training run.

It happened Wednesday night when the F-16 fighter jet on a nighttime training mission fired 25 rounds of ammunition. Some of the two inch long bullets tore through the schools roof.

The pilot was supposed to have targeted a firing range three miles away. It's still not clear why the target was missed. Only a custodian was there at the time.

Now, people in Little Egg Harbor are worried about the bombing range in their backyards. One father says this is always in the back of parents' minds.

The Guard won't give the name of the pilot or any details on possible disciplinary action.
