Kristen worked as a TV sports reporter and anchor for the WBRZ, the ABC affiliate in Baton Rouge, LA.
She fulfilled her dream of being a sideline reporter for college football, having her most recent game aired on ESPN GamePlan. She was honored by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association for her excellence in reporting.
Kristen’s first start in TV came in Houma, LA where she anchored her own 30-minute sports show and hour long Friday night Sports Recap show. From there, she landed a job at WVUE, the FOX affiliate in New Orleans, working her way on-camera from producing to reporting and anchoring.
While in Louisiana, she had the privilege of covering two national championship teams with LSU football and baseball as well as the New Orleans Saints march to the franchise's first Super Bowl Championship.
Prior to her broadcasting career, the Germantown, TN native worked for a Fortune 250 wireless company, where she managed the company's corporate business sales trainers.
Kristen is a die-hard Memphis Tiger, serving as President of the Tiger Pride Football hostesses her entire collegaite career while earning a Journalism degree at the University of Memphis.
Kristen married Joshua, a passionate Texan from Sulphur Springs. After living in six states, they are thrilled to be able to raise their family in East Texas. When Kristen, an avid college football fan is not covering news, you may find her in a football stadium.
She serves in the local chapter of the Mended Little Hearts Organization and is an active member of Mobberly Baptist Church.
