CAMP COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The National Weather Service in Shreveport, LA has confirmed that wind damage on Sunday afternoon near Pittsburg was caused by a tornado.

Officials say a weak EF-0 tornado touched down north of Pittsburg in Camp County around 3:46 p.m. on Sunday, damaging a few businesses along a 500 yard path. Maximum winds from the tornado were estimated between 70-75 MPH.

A number of billboards were also damaged by the tornado and a few businesses suffered roof and wall damage. No one was at any of the buildings at the time they were hit.

At a local church, a truck was picked up and overturned.

"We left one of our vehicles here. Got a call about 4:30 p.m. that our Tahoe was upside down," says Lakeda Monroe.
