Two arrested in shooting death of Upshur Co. teen

UPSHUR COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Two suspects have been arrested for their involvement in the death of an Upshur County teenager.

According to the Upshur County Sheriff's Office, two 14-year-old males were taken into custody for the murder of 17-year-old Jacob Michael Johnson.

Preliminary autopsy results released Wednesday revealed that Johnson died from two gun shot wounds to the head.

Officials say the investigation into Johnson's death is ongoing and more arrests are possible.

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked off of Sego Lily Road in Diana at 9:43 p.m. Sunday. When deputies arrived, Johnson was found dead inside the car from apparent gunshot wounds.
