Dad and son together one last time on the court

TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A father and son basketball duo will receive one final game together Saturday night. They also get to go out, with some of the very best in East Texas.

Tatum's Brett Carr will coach his son Casey, for the East squad in the Azalea Orthopedic All Star game this weekend. This will be Casey's final high school game, and it will be his dad's final game in East Texas.

After 12 years leading Tatum, Brett Carr has accepted the head coach job at Morton Ranch High School in Katy. Carr led the Eagles to three state championship games.

"I'm just happy for him," Casey said. "I hope he does amazing at Katy. The time that we had together, going to state was unforgettable."
 
"Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anymore," Brett added. "You know the whole thing didn't end how we all wanted it to but to have another chance to get on the floor with a couple of them and let them play again for us, imI'meally excited about it."
