TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Neil Armstrong, King Tut, Amelia Earhart and other famous historical figures were in Tyler on Tuesday.

Second and third grade students at Jack Elementary participated in a "living wax museum".

The students chose their own historical figure, living or dead, and researched that person, deciding what made that person a great leader. Parents and other students had the opportunity to walk around listen to the students tell about their character.

It was all a part of Jack Elementary's Leadership Day that had local community leaders come in and talk with students.
