Good Tuesday afternoon, everyone!

Here are a few stories for you to check out today:

2. Bacon prices rising? A virus never before seen in the U.S. has killed millions of baby pigs in less than a year, and it's threatening pork production and pushing up prices by 10 percent or more.

On Tuesday morning, Smith County commissioners discussed electronic cigarettes and the current smoking ordinance. Commissioners discussed prohibiting the use of e-cigarettes within 50 feet of county building.

4. According to an affidavit, a Lufkin man, Kory Otteson, who slammed on his brakes, causing an accident on April 6, said, 'I got you, Mexicans!' to the people who hit him from behind. The rest of the story here.

5. Sounds like science fiction, but it's really happening: In a north London hospital, scientists are growing noses, ears and blood vessels in a bold attempt to make body parts in the laboratory.

6.  Members of the New Black Panther Party gathered outside the office of Texas Ranger Danny Young to protest the death of Alfred Wright.
"Alfred is going to be the spark that ignites a movement of human rights here in America, especially for those people of African American descent," Jay Morrison said.

7. The teenager found dead in his vehicle in rural Upshur County on Sunday night has now been identified.The body of 17-year-old Jacob Johnson was discovered in a car parked off of Sego Lily Road in Diana.
