ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
A Louisiana man is being held in the Angelina County Jail today on an armed robbery warrant out of Gregg County.
Robert Andrew Lilley, of Logansport, LA was arrested by Angelina County deputies on Monday.
Longview police spokeswoman Kristie Brian said Lilley is wanted in connection to a December 2013 robbery of a vehicle used to transport prescription medicine.
Lilley and an unspecified number of accomplices allegedly stole the vehicle from the 500 block of North Spur 63 in Longview. Brian said the driver of that vehicle was struck in the arm but did not seek medical assistance.
The vehicle was later recovered a short distance from where it had been stolen and the medications were missing, she said. Brian declined to comment on the type or amount of medications stolen.
Lilley also faces a second degree felony charge from Angelina County for possession of a controlled substance.
