It was a day of fun and games for those who work for the city of Longview. At Maude Cobb Activity center they had an "appreciation party" thrown on their behalf, with some crazy activities. For 10 minutes at a time, employees and other visitors could see what it was like to be a dispatcher for a day.
Participants could also throw plastic darts at pictures of city planners. Finally many employees had the opportunity to play toilet paper basketball, which is exactly what it sounds like. All this in an effort to say "thank you" to city workers for a job well done.
