Send words of encouragement to the Fort Hood community

Posted: Updated:

From the United Service Organizations:

From the moment the news broke, our hearts went out to the entire Fort Hood community – soldiers, families, civilians, first-responders, medical professionals, chaplains, volunteers – the entire community.

These brave Americans need our support right now – and you can be confident the USO is right there, by their side during this tragedy. Incredible staff and volunteers at the USO Fort Hood center immediately sprang into action to support our troops and their families, and we will continue to support them.

We are all a community – the USO, our troops and their families and you. That’s why we’re asking each of you to offer your own words of encouragement and support – to let our fellow citizens know you’re with them.

I know I can count on you to stand with us to support our troops and their families when they need us most.

Join me.

Brigadier General John I. Pray Jr., USAF (Ret.)

USO President and CEO
