On Thursday, at approximately 3:35 p.m., Tyler police responded to a robbery at the CPU Store at 201 Rice Road in Tyler, Texas.

Police say the suspect, 72-year-old Bernard Mitchell, was upset with the service that was provided. Mitchell walked around the store counter and assaulted the store manager, striking the manager several times in the head with his fist. After the assault, Mitchell stole two computer motherboards from the store and left.

Mitchell sustained a laceration to his head from the incident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Mitchell was arrested and will be booked into the Smith County Jail for robbery. Mitchell was charged with robbery because he committed an assault during the theft.
