Azalea Orthopedics Announces Coaches and Team Members for 2014 All-Star Classic Game

TYLER, TX - The Azalea Orthopedics All-Star high school basketball games have been set for April 12, 2014 in the Wagstaff Gymnasium on the Tyler Junior College campus. The game, which is in its eleventh year, is sponsored by Azalea Orthopedics. The Classic gives high school seniors in the East Texas area the opportunity to showcase their talent for colleges and hometown fans.

Area seniors are nominated by their high school coaches and are selected by an All Star selection panel.

“We are pleased to announce this year’s coaches and team members for both the girls and boys teams for the All-Star Classic,” said Dan Fuller, Azalea head athletic trainer and coordinator of the annual event. They are as follows:

“In the past we have had some very talented athletes play in these games, we are very fortunate to continue with that tradition,” explains Fuller. He also added that areas of East and West divide teams geographically.

The team practices are scheduled for the following:

Monday, April 7th - Wagstaff Gym

Girls West practice at 6:00PM

Boys West practice at 7:30PM

Tuesday April 8th - Wagstaff Gym

Girls East practice at 6:00PM

Boys East practice at 7:30PM

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. on April 12. The girls’ game time is slated for 5:30 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow at approximately 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under the age of 10.

All proceeds from the All-Star game are donated to the Bethesda Clinic.

But, earlier Wednesday, a picture surfaced on social media of Winston working out with Adrian Peterson in Houston at a training facility.
