TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
Tyler Independent School District is hosting a teacher job fair Saturday, March 22.
The human resources department says they're hoping to fill more than 30 positions. These will include elementary through high school teaching positions. TISD says the biggest need is for elementary bilingual teachers. They say about 44 percent of their student population is Hispanic. They also say there is a high need for secondary math and science teachers.
The teacher job fair will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Robert E. Lee High School cafeteria.
Resumes, cover letters and other professional documents will be accepted on Saturday.
