Tip leads to three arrests for drugs, child endangerment

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - A tip led to three arrests and a drug bust at a Longview hotel Wednesday morning.

Longview police said they received a tip from a caller reporting that several wanted individuals were staying at the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel at 3211 Hotel Way. Officers arrived at the hotel just before 8:30 a.m.

Joshua Deshotel, 33, of Ore City was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over four grams and less than 400 grams. Police say Deshotel was also charged with child endangerment. Around 7.7 grams of methamphetamine were located in close proximity to a female child.

Steven Kelly Mott, 39, of Lone Star was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant issued by the Tyler Police Department. That warrant is for theft of property over $500 and less than $1,500. Jennifer Lyne Crawford, 28, of Gilmer was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Deshotel remains in the Gregg County Jail on $60,000 bond. Mott also remains in the Gregg County Jail on $5,000 bond. Crawford has been released.
