Accused robber swings knife at store employee, flees

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A knife-wielding man was caught by police and charged with aggravated robbery on Tuesday.

Longview police say 44-year-old Ralph Ivan Hunt pulled a knife on a Kohl's employee who caught him stealing.

The Kohl's employee saw Hunt put a phone charger in his pocket and left the store. When the employee tried to stop Hunt, he pulled a large knife and swung it at the employee.

Hunt fled but was caught by police in the 500 block of East Loop 281.

He's being held on a $25,000 bond
