Man charged for police pursuit, shooting

A West End man who was arrested for leading police on a chase through Columbia Township has been charged with a shooting as well.

Police attempted  to stop 22-year-old Keion Robinson for a traffic violation when he refused and led police on a lengthy, high speed chase on I-71 and through several Cincinnati neighborhoods.

Robinson lost control of the vehicle in 3200 block of Burnet Avenue. Police arrested him and the other two passengers in the vehicle.

Upon being arrested for the police pursuit, Robinson faced additional charges for a March 15 shooting. According to court documents, Robinson engaged in an argument with the victim before shooting him in the stomach. 

Robinson's charges include Felonious Assault and Failure to Comply.
