Wood Co. authorities seek suspects in $6,500 fuel theft
WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
Wood County authorities are hoping the public can provide information regarding the theft of over $6,000 worth of fuel.
On March 8 or March 9, unidentified suspects took 2,000 gallons of red diesel from a bulk storage tank located at a job site on County Road 3590 near the Wood County and Upshur County line.
The diesel is valued at $6,500 and was being stored at the location for use in a logging job.
Wood County Crime Stoppers is offering to pay up to $1,000 for tips leading to the identification and arrest of those invovled in this theft. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling 903-763-CASH (2274).
