GREGG COUNTY, TX - Sheriff Maxey Cerliano and the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office announce the arrest of a Gregg County man in possession of over 200 pounds of marijuana.
At about 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Gregg County deputies responded to 166 Spokane Street in Gladewater for a suspicious person call. While speaking with the complainant, Deputies noticed the odor of marijuana and asked for consent to search the residence. Upon the resident refusing consent, a warrant was obtained and Deputies subsequently located over 212 pounds of marijuana valued at nearly $130,000. Also found on the property were digital scales, a grinder and five firearms.
Thirty-seven year old Patrick Charles Christian was arrested for possession of marijuana (>50 <=2,000 LBS) and transported to the Gregg County Jail. Christian’s bond has been set at $10,000.
