Amber Alert for missing toddler ends, suspected abductor arrested near Mesquite

TEMPLE, TX (KLTV) -
An Amber Alert issued for an abducted Temple, Texas two-year-old ended Friday afternoon in Mesquite.
According to WFAA, a vehicle matching the description of a car suspected abductor Vincent Corson, Jr. was said to be driving was spotted in North Texas on Interstate 20 in Mesquite. The car was stopped by police and Vincent was taken into custody.
Two-year-old Isaiah Corson is reported to be safe. The boy's mother is expected to survive her injuries.
The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert Friday for Isaiah Corson around 11 a.m. His suspected abductor is 29-year-old Vincent Corson, Jr. Vincent was believed to be driving a maroon 2007 Mazda 6 with Texas license plate number CCS2279.
According to the Waco Police Department, Vincent shot his estranged wife while she was holding Isaiah and then fled, taking the toddler with him.
Temple is located in Bell County around 35 miles southwest of Waco.
