PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) -

Investigators said four men were arrested after a robbery Thursday morning led to a chase, which eventually ended in a crash and a suspect getting bitten by a police dog.

The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said reported receiving a call from a neighbor in Port Allen around 10:45 a.m. about a robbery in progress and when deputies arrived on the scene, two suspects jumped out of a window and ran, while a third ran out of a door.

Sheriff Mike Cazes said the suspect that ran out of the door jumped in a car and drove off, which started the chase. He added deputies pursued the suspect in the car until he crashed at US 190 and LA 1. He was then taken into custody.

According to Cazes, a K-9 caught one of the suspects that jumped out of the window as he tried to run across a neighbor's yard. There are reports the suspect was bitten by the police dog.

Cazes reported the other suspect that jumped out of the window actually made his way to a nearby church where a funeral was taking place. He was found and arrested.

A fourth suspect was found still inside the house hiding in a closet behind some clothes.

Quindell M. Webb, 23, has been charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and aggravated flight from an office.

Dymarco D. Hills, 18, has been charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and resisting arrest.

Darius Barnes, 25, has been charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and resisting arrest.

Curtis L. Fisher, 31 has been charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and resisting arrest.

No bonds have been set at this time.

Port Allen High School was put on lockdown for a while, but it ended with the capture of the fourth suspect.

The Baton Rouge Police Department dispatched its chopper to assist with the chase.
