LINDALE, TX – On Monday, March 17, Whataburger customers at the Lindale restaurant (311 South Main Street) can show their support for local firefighter Joe Yeakley by enjoying their favorite menu items, and 50 percent of Whataburger’s sales from 5 to 8 p.m. will be donated to the Joe Yeakley Relief Fund.

Yeakley, a 14-year veteran with the Lindale Volunteer Fire Department, was critically injured on January 17 while battling a house fire in Lindale.

“Whataburger is grateful for Joe’s years of service in the community and we want to give back in any way we can,” said Whataburger Franchisee Doyle Thomas. “We hope locals will come out and show their support for Joe while enjoying their favorite Whataburger meal.”

Family-owned Whataburger has proudly served its famous burgers since 1950 and continues to deliver fresh, made-to-order meals every day with extraordinary customer service. In addition to Oh Whata Night fundraising, Whataburger supports the communities it serves through charitable giving and volunteerism to a number of nonprofit organizations that focus on children’s charities, cancer research, hunger assistance, disaster relief and military support.
