Police: Juvenile leads officers on chase after trying to rob elderly woman at gunpoint

JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) - A juvenile is in custody after being arrested by Jacksonville police for allegedly robbing an elderly woman at gunpoint on Friday morning.

The woman called the Jacksonville Police Department after the robbery. Officers in the area responded and identified the suspect, who fled on foot. The suspect was caught after a short chase by the Capital One bank. The suspect was arrested without incident and officers found that he was carrying a BB gun.

The suspect, who is not being identified because he is a juvenile, is charged with aggravated robbery, a felony. He is being held at a juvenile detention center in Anderson County.
