Highway patrol worked numerous accidents overnight on Highway 64 E. between E. Loop 323 and University Drive because slick conditions on that stretch of highway.
Gregg County Sheriff's Department is reporting 100 to 250 feet of black ice on FM 1844 either side of N. Fuller Road. They have worked at numerous wrecks here over the past couple of days.
Sand crews are sanding these locations, but until the temperature gets above freezing these could be a problem for morning commuters.
