Smith Co. Commissioner: 'They'll run get bread and milk, but won't vote'

Posted: Updated:
TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Smith County Commissioner Jeff Warr and other officials are disappointed by voter turnout in the primary election.

Warr said he believes the ice really affected voter turnout, and said he observed a noticeable decrease in the number of people who came out to vote.

Warr said what other elections officials and politicians may be feeling this evening, saying "It's funny, they'll run and get bread and milk but they won't vote."
