LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas bank was evacuated Monday afternoon after a bomb threat.

Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zachary said police searched Regions Bank located at 213 N. Fredonia Street after receiving a "vague phone threat" just before 4 p.m.

The area surrounding the bank was blocked off and all bank employees were evacuated as police and firefighters searched the entire building. No explosives were found.

The bank's lobby will reopen Tuesday morning for normal operating hours. The drive-thru reopened after first responders left the scene Monday evening.

Both Longview Fire Department and Longview Police Department responded to the threat.
