One person shot after home invasion in Colerain

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

The Colerain Police Department reported that one person was shot during a home invasion in the 2400 block of Roosevelt Avenue on Thursday, February 20.

At approximately 11 p.m., Colerain Police officers responded to a call of several subjects entering a home and one of the occupants of the home being shot.

Upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

Witnesses stated that one of the suspects might have been wounded in the exchange of gunfire between the suspects and victims.

All of the suspects and several victims were armed with handguns. Area hospitals have been notified to be on the lookout for gunshot wounds.

The suspects are described as three African American males between 16-25 years of age. Police say the suspects left the scene in an unknown type of vehicle.
