LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Friday in Longview, hundreds of women wore red to bring awareness to the issue of heart disease.

It was all part of the 2014 Longview Go Red for Women's Red Dress luncheon. This year's guest speaker was the 2010 Mrs. Texas International Ashley Smith. These ladies hope to raise $75,000 for the cause.

Since 1949, the American Heart Association has invested more than $3.3 billion in the "hearts" of our country.
