ETMC Junior Volunteer summer program applications available

TYLER, TX - ETMC Tyler Volunteer Resources has opportunities for students entering grades 10 -12 this fall to apply to be 2014 ETMC Junior Volunteers. The six-week program is June 16-July 25 with a mandatory orientation Friday, June 13.

To be considered for the program, students must:

- Complete an application, which includes writing a short essay

- Provide a letter of recommendation from a school principal or counselor

- Demonstrate a great attitude with the ability to smile and go the extra mile Have a 3.0 or above GPA

The program is limited to 45 students. For more information and registration forms, visit www.etmc.org/jrvolunteers

ETMC Tyler Junior Volunteers volunteer either one full day or two half days for a weekly total of eight hours. In addition, they also have the opportunity to participate in the new Leadership Academy program.

Applicants turning in correctly completed registration forms and supporting material are accepted first-come, first-served. The deadline to apply is March 14.
