Authorities seeking East Texas man who allegedly kidnapped, raped 14-year-old girl

HOPKINS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
East Texas authorities are seeking a male suspect wanted in connection with the alleged kidnapping and rape of a 14-year-old female.
The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that they are searching for 49-year-old Franklin Coy Kuhl, Jr. He is wanted for trafficking of persons.
Officers initially received a call from the alleged victim stating that a family friend had taken her to a hotel in Greenville and raped her. The incident occurred around February 1. Police say she is now safe at home.
Kuhl works for a construction business in Kaufman County, but lives in and is wanted out of Hopkins County. He is believed to be driving a red early 2000 or late 1990s model Chevy Cavalier.
Kuhl is 5'6" tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He is bald with a handlebar mustache and goes by his middle name, Coy. He has tattoos on his left hand, both upper arms, his back and chest.
