East Texas pizza delivery man robbed at gunpoint

From the Tyler Police Department:

On 02-15-2014 at approximately 10:07 PM, officers responded to the robbery of an individual that occurred at The Cambridge apt complex, 3088 Old Omen in Tyler. Upon arrival, officer's contacted a Domino's Pizza Delivery driver, who advised that he had just been robbed at gun point. The victim said he was walking up the stairs to one of the buildings, about to deliver a pizza, when a thin black male wearing a hoodie approached him.

The suspect retrieved a black semi-automatic handgun from his pocket and ordered the victim to hand over all of his money and food . The victim immediately complied and then ran away. The suspect fled the scene in the opposite direction at this time.

The suspect is described as a black male, thin build, and was wearing a dark hoodie. He is between 20-30 yrs old, and is approximately 6'00'' tall. The complex and immediate surrounding area was searched by officer's, but the suspect was no located. At this time there is no further information.

This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
