Westbound lanes of I-20 near Lindale now clear after accident
SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
An accident on westbound Interstate 20 in Smith County has now been cleared.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and the Lindale Fire Department responded to a wreck near mile marker 559 in the westbound lanes of the roadway around 10:40 a.m. Thursday. This is near Lavender Road, four miles east of Lindale.
DPS said the wreck caused traffic to back up for about one mile. Traffic in both lanes of the roadway are now flowing smoothly.
